With experience as a Technical Director, Solution, Application and Technical Architect, and as a Technical Team lead in a career spanning 15 years, covering all lifecycle disciplines in both on and off shore environments; Primarily working on Java Software Architecture, technical team leading, design and development solutions, with responsibilities for the Application, Solution and Software Architecture, High Level Design and delivery of JEE systems, estimating, configuration management, consulting, facilitating customer workshops, requirements capture, reviewing analysis and test team artefact's.
Currently I am working in the Atos Worldline UK&I CTO group as the Transport Operations Technical Director, primarily setting strategy and assuring solution bids and delivery alignment. In addition, I am also responsible for leading the UK&I traversal business unit - Software Development Community Office; with a remit to improve software deliveries through people, processes and technology (languages, toolsets and environments), coaching and implementing agile and DevOps practices.
Previously I was a Solution Architect responsible for the delivery of the Atos Smart Ticketing Solution, for Transport for Greater Manchester, and prior to that a (consultant) Solution Architect on the Universal Credits DWP Government programme; providing Architectural guidance and governance for design and development across suppliers.
Prior to that a Technical Architect on the rationalisation of the Atos Occupational Health business process management system; providing Architectural guidance and governance to offshore development, utilising Atos India. With a further background in leading a Technical Architectural design and development team; including proposal, estimation and software deliveries for a high profile government project.
